My Story

A few years ago, I experienced burnout, and life forced me to slow down significantly. My body simply said stop. What once seemed simple became difficult, and I had to relearn how to care for my health — physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The recovery process has not been a straight line. Some days are still lower in energy than others, but the difference today is that recovery is better, and setbacks are shorter. I have learned to listen better to my body, respect my boundaries, and take small steps at a time.

Initially, I couldn't jump straight into intense exercise. I started with short, slow walks in nature. Getting out into the fresh air, feeling the earth beneath my feet, and allowing my nervous system to calm down became part of my own healing. Gradually, my body began to tolerate more, and I reconnected with my strength.

This experience sparked a deep interest in health, the nervous system, nutrition, and holistic well-being. I began practicing and studying yoga and have, among other things, completed the I AM Yoga Nidra™ Advanced Training with Kamini Desai, as well as a 50-hour Yin Yoga course. Today, I teach restorative Yoga Nidra classes twice a week, focusing on deep relaxation, rest, and calming the nervous system.

I therefore also decided to enroll in a health coaching program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) to better learn how I can support others who have lost their health and are looking for ways to regain balance, energy, and joy in life.

Today, through energy management and heightened awareness, I have gained better control over my health — though I still need to listen carefully to my body and manage my energy well, which allows me to have truly good days. This is something I believe many who have experienced burnout understand very well.

I want to share my journey and experience with you, because I know there are individuals out there who have lost their health and have no idea where to start or how best to approach recovery. I am grateful to have found tools that have helped me — tools and experiences that I can now share further, including in this blog.

However, we must not forget that we are all different. What works for one person doesn't always work for others. But sometimes, change simply begins with being willing to try something new. You rarely know what works until you try it.

If you are interested in working on your health, achieving better well-being, more consistent energy, healthier lifestyle habits, and greater awareness of what works for you and what doesn't, then I encourage you to send me a message — and we can see if we can work together through health coaching.

I also encourage you to read my blog and try the methods offered there. Whether it's changing habits that no longer serve you, nourishing your body better, trying vitamins and supplements, eating cleaner food, or reducing what drains your energy.

I also encourage you to spend more time in nature, slow down, go more inward, and listen to your spiritual energy and inner peace. For some, this might involve drinking cacao mindfully, practicing yoga or meditation, breathing deeper, or simply allowing yourself more time to just be.

Sometimes the biggest changes start with small steps — and with greater awareness of what our body is truly trying to tell us.
